Because abortion is legal mothers are allowed to take the lives away from their children before they even have a chance. We as Americans have so many rights; such as, the right to bear arms, freedom of speech, press, and so many more. Yet abortion is still legal, this takes away all of those rights simply because it takes away the most important right, the right to life. Abortion is murder and should be seen as a sin. God said “You have heard that the ancients were told ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER.’ and whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.” (The Lockman Foundation, The Bible, New Testament, 1997,3,Matthew 5:21.) Abortion should be illegal because a woman would be committing murder of an unborn child.
