Pursing a postsecondary education is important for me because it gives me more opportunity in my life to choose a career that i will enjoy. In today's generation a high school diploma is not going to help you find a career with a high wage. Another reason is i want to help other students tell them that going to college is possible for everyone even is you don’t the financial resources. Also, it is important for me because I’m going to be the 1st generation of my family going to go to college and i want to show people back in my parents small community in Ecuador that all their hard work coming to the united state payed off.
