Whom to Blame
Throughout the story of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet there was a lot of tragedies that happened. Many people died and hearts were broken, but there were several reasons why they happened. The big question is that who is to blame for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet? There was many people involved with it but there is two that stand out and seems to be the ones. Those two people are Romeo and Friar Lawrence, they have done a lot things that contributed to the death of Juliet and many others. Here are the reasons why they are the ones to blame for the tragedies.

In the first place Romeo was to blame for his actions of getting attached easily and moving on to quickly. In the beginning of the play Romeo was in love with Rosaline

When Romeo made it back to Juliet's tomb he said, "Here's to my love true apothecary, thy drugs are quick thus with a kiss I die.”(5.3.199-120).In this quote you can see that he loves Juliet so much that he kills himself to be with Juliet, but she then wakes up and kills herself. In that one case he is the cause of the death of Juliet. Before he got into the tomb he was faced up against Paris and he wasn't stopping him from letting him in so Romeo killed Paris. One more death that was caused by Romeo was Mercutio; if he didn't stop to break up the fight Mercutio could have had a chance but Tybalt stabbed him. It starts out with Romeo being too lovey and changing emotions that leads to many deaths throughout the play. It also includes the Friar letting them get married and for them to love each other even though he knows that their families are feuding. Through all of that then the family stops feuding but there could have been an easier way to stop fighting. Even if the characters that were listed changed a little bit of what they did then maybe the end could have been better.
