The company's products include beverages, body care, snacks, frozen, pantry staples, supplements and gift baskets and also eco-scaling cleaning products (Whole Foods.com, 2018). Whole Foods quality standards are providing foods that are free of artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners, and hydrogenated fats. The driving factor of the company is to enhance methods, safety, ingredients, taste, freshness, nutrition, and appearance. Whole Foods delivers value by providing safe and healthy food to health-conscious customers would enjoy (Whole Foods.com, 2018).
Whole Foods is one of the most profitable health food markets in the United States. The company has a strong brand reputation in the organic, health industry due to the high quality of its products. However, competition, such as Sprouts Farmers Markets, Trader Joe’s, and Wal-Mart has become popular in the natural and organic food market industry within the last decade (Investopedia.com, 2018).
