Whole Foods Market, Inc. is the largest natural foods grocer in the U.S. In 2012 annual sales are $11 billion, and net profit of 465.5 million. When asked of one of the founders, John Mackey what he thought about money, his answer was simple “I still grow in financial success because I have several investments that continue to flourish, but Whole Foods is trying to fulfill a deeper purpose, and I must embody that deeper purpose”.
