When Gatsby died there where many people to blame for it, Tom, Daisy, and Myrtle all had parts in the murder of the great Jay Gatsby. His death was a sad day when Nick held the funeral he invited many people to come, but for a man who was known for his great parties and wealth, there were only three people at his funeral. These three people where the only three that actually wanted to get to know him and not just use him for his magnificent parties. The three people to show were Gatsby’s dad, Nick, and the owl eyed man. Gatsby was a man who lived a happy life and wanted nobody to hate him, but by the end of the book that all change. The only part she could have played in it is when she ran out and were hit by the car when Daisy was driving and she hit her and Gatsby was the one they blamed the death of here on which is why Wilson went and shot him. “The death car as the newspapers called it, didn’t stop; it came out of the gathering darkness, wavered tragically for a moment, and then disappeared around the next bend” (137).
