You may be wondering right now, who is to blame for these two love birds' deaths? The death of these lovebirds which names are called Romeo and Juliet, were both sad and pointless. This could’ve all been prevented by Romeo’s mindless actions. Even though Romeo is to blame for their deaths, some may believe Friar Lawrence is also responsible. In other words Friar Lawrence also plays a big part in the two deaths. Friar Lawrence created a dumb plan that plays a major key. Alternatively, if Romeo wouldn’t have rushed things with Juliet they wouldn’t be so involved with each other as they were. They should’ve given the relationship time before rushing into marriage to quick. In the text it says,” If that thy bent of love be honorable.” The barely met for a week and they are talking about marriage so soon. If they would’ve slowed things down, then all the actions Romeo caused wouldn’t affect Juliet and Romeo would’ve just been banished and probably would’ve moved on. This means they would both still be alive, they just would move on. …show more content…
If it wasn’t for his dumb plan Romeo and Juliet would both be alive. This man made a whole plan and it didn’t reach everybody so some people didn’t know about this plan( Romeo) In the passage it says,”FRIAR LAWRENCE:Then who took my letter to Romeo? FRIAR JOHN: I couldn’t send it. Here it is. (he gives FRIAR LAWRENCE's letter) I couldn’t get a messenger to bring it to you either because they were scared of spreading the infection.
FRIAR LAWRENCE:Unhappy fortune! By my brotherhood, the letter was not just a nice greeting. It was full of very important information. It’s very dangerous that it hasn’t been sent. Friar John, go and get me an iron crowbar. Bring it straight back to my cell.” This shows that Friar Lawrence was very careless about the letter. Friar should’ve just personally delivered the letter or talk to him in person. The deaths wouldn’t have happened if the letter reached
