One reason I blame Friar Lawrence for the death of Romeo and Juliet is that he was somewhat encouraging them to be together anymore isn't trying to stop them. also, he was the one that married them, without talking to any of their parents for everything. And according to the New York Times- do we need to refine adulthood, It talks about how a kid is an adult when they're 18 and no younger which means Friar Lawrence should have talked to one of her parents to get consent because she was only 13 and she wasn't old enough. Also the fact that he was the one that came up with the idea for Juliet to fake her own death and he's the one that gave her the potion, and so if he didn't give her the potion she wouldn't have faked her death and then Romeo wouldn't have thought she was dead and then Romeo wouldn't have killed himself. In the last thing, I blame for The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet fun is Lord Capulet. I blame Lord Capulet because he was the one telling Juliet she has to marry Paris or he would disown her and kick her out of the family. also, he had moved up the wedding day and if he didn't move up the wedding day there would have been a chance that Romeo would have seen the letter and known that Juliet was faking her death and they would not have

Were the tragic ends of Romeo and Juliet part of a love-fueled suicide, or a dastardly murder? In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, feuds between the families of these lovers separated them from each other to the point both deciding to reunite together in the heavens. I believe their untimely deaths didn’t have to occur if it weren’t for Benvolio, Mercutio and Romeo himself. One person I point the blame to for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths is Romeo’s cousin, Benvolio.…

She first started off by lying to her father saying that she won’t be with Romeo and that she will marry Paris. Also, she lied to not only Paris, but her whole family about her unexpected “death” even though she had only drank a vial that put her into a deep sleep for forty-two hours, which not only hurt her family, but completely crushed Romeo when he heard the news. Lastly, she lied about her love for Paris, agreeing to marry him even though she was already married to Romeo and having the Friar go along with it (Shakespeare 471). Another reason why Juliet is to blame is because she basically was acting so naive and childish throughout this whole story, although she was young she didn’t really think things through for too long and just decided to do whatever she could to get her out of the mess she was in even if that meant making up a huge lie and then piling another lie on top of that and so on, she was just fighting fire with fire and making a bigger…

The evidence shows us that it was Romeo’s own decision to take poison and kill himself. Their own decisions are to blame for their deaths, and not the guidance of Friar Lawrence. On the other hand, this argument is not valid because all of Romeo and Juliet’s choices were caused by the reckless plans created by Friar Lawrence. Friar Lawrence got them married without their parents permissions, he gave Juliet the plan to fake her own death, he didn’t tell Romeo about the plan beforehand, thus causing Romeo to die. Romeo and Juliet’s decisions have no effect on their…
