Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths. Other people helped to make it happen but it was mostly caused by them. They got very attached to each other and that is why they died. They also directly caused their own deaths because they killed themselves. Their choices of what they were going to do it the situation they were in is what killed them.

When Romeo and Juliet met each other they thought they were in love with each other immediately. If they had actually thought about it they probably would have realized that you can't fall in love with someone that quickly. They thought they couldn't live without each other. They killed themselves because they didn't want to have to live without each other. They could have lived fine
