Who Was Responsible For Romeo And Juliet's Death

In the book Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo is responsible for all 6 deaths. Two reasons why Romeo is responsible for the deaths is because Romeo as physically killed Tybalt, Paris, and even himself. Romeo has also mentally killed Juliet and lady montague. He physically killed Paris and Tybalt by stabbing them, and he killed himself by drinking the strongest poison possible. He mentally killed Juliet because she saw that he was dead causing her to kill herself, and lady montague couldn't handle all of these deaths so she took her own life. Romeo gets upset because Tybalt killed Mercutio and Romeo loses his temper. Romeo decides that he wants to get revenge by fighting Tybalt. With Paris, Romeo was trying to get into the tomb but Paris tries to stop him. Romeo even said to Tybalt “This will decide who dies.” and to Paris “Alright, lets fight boy!” these quotes just prove that Romeo was the one who wanted to fight both of them. …show more content…
When Juliet woke up and saw romeo she said “Oh noise? Then I’ll be quick. Oh good a knife! My body will be your sheath. Rust inside my body and let me die.” which is just proving that she killed herself with a rusty dagger because she saw Romeo laying dead on the floor. From devastation, Juliet takes her life.
