Who Was Responsible For Romeo And Juliet's Death

In my opinion I think Friar Lawrence is responsible for their deaths. In Act II , scene 6 Romeo and Juliet are getting married. Friar Lawrence agreed to let Romeo and Juliet get married. And by the time they were married, Friar knew everything. Friar could’ve told the Montagues and Capulets that Romeo and Juliet loved each other, and if he had told them a even bigger conflict would happen. On top of that, I think Friar was setting them up. He knew that them getting married was wrong, but he still went along with it anyway. Lady Capulet knows that Romeo killed Tybalt and she knows that Juliet loves Romeo. Her mother doesn’t agree to this. She sees that Juliet is more concerned about Romeo then Tybalt. Meanwhile Lord Capulet is telling Paris …show more content…
What should Romeo and Juliet have done, instead of what they actually did, at three or more points in the play? b. Could Romeo and Juliet have triumphed--if they'd had good advice? c. Would Mercutio have helped them had he lived?

In my opinion I think Romeo and Juliet should have never met, even if they love each other. Because if Friar Lawrence gave them bad advice which later on lead to their deaths, then like I said they should have never met. Not only did they get bad advice, but Romeo killed 2 Capulets, and on top of that Romeo and Juliet both got married which was against their family heritage. Romeo and Juliet should have let bygones be bygones. Even still if they would love each other, they should have not get married. It was their love that kinda lead to their fate.

They probably would have triumphed if they had good advice. To be honest it probably would barely work out for them because at some point someone will tell. And even if Mercutio was alive he would probably tell. Also, Friar was probably setting them up even if he had gave good advice. I mean they would maybe pull it off for a while but still at some point they are going to get caught. If they had still been alive they probably would not be able to see each other

In Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet,” could Romeo and Juliet had done something differently to survive? Romeo and Juliet could have done so many things at certain points in the play. First off, Romeo and Juliet should have not planned to get married after only knowing each other for one day, not even a full day, more of one night. You don’t want to marry someone you first met, they should have at least waited a little longer, or told someone besides, the nurse and Friar. Even better, they should have just come clean to their parents, that they wanted to eventually get married, because of Juliet not telling her parents, they planned for her to get married to her parents. When Lord and Lady Capulet comes and says that Juliet is going to marry Paris, this is another opportunity that Juliet has to tell her parents about her and Romeo.…
