Who is the beast in Lord of the Flies? There where three things that made the boys believe that there was a beast on the island. The first thing that got them to believe that there was a beast was fear. They got scared when they heard they might be living with a beast. Second was they got bombed out of the sky by a plane and landed on an island. The boys’ minds were not in the right state of mind. Third they were just becoming savages to survive on the island. In (Doc A) the boys begin to believe that they are living with a beast on the island. They first here about the beast when a young child believes he saw a bestie. At first the little children where believing that there was a bestie but later everyone started to believe that there was a bestie (Doc A). Since there were no parents to tell them a there was no bestie they all just believed there was a bestie (Doc A).
