In the begging of the play Brutus was at war with himself. He did not know what was Caesar was doing and if he should kill Caesar. Cassius then started talking to Brutus and was persuading him to join the conspirators.
Some people say that Brutus is not a tragic hero. After Antony’s speech the crowd/people where furious to hear that Caesar was dead. They where shocked because who would kill Caesar? The people loved him for everything that Caesar did as the emperor. Antony then made Brutus sound like a monster and the people ran Brutus out of Rome. Brutus was the most noble man in Rome and loved everyone in Rome and loved Rome. These are reasons why Brutus is a tragic hero. Brutus was a tragic hero because he was a great leader and was noble. He was persuaded by Cassius to kill Julius Caesar. He loved everyone and everything about Rome. While Brutus was at war with himself Cassius persuaded him into joining the conspirators. One of his good friends Antony got him and the rest of the conspirators into deep trouble. Antony said that he was not going to blame Brutus and the conspirators but in his speech he did blame him.
