Who Was George Washington The Best President

I believe that the best president of the united states was George Washington. George Washington was not only the best president of the united states but the best general in American military history. He started from humble beginnings working in agriculture in Virginia and later served in the military and actually fought for the British against rebels in the south and almost lost his life.

He later joined the cause for American independence and worked his way up to General and filled the empty role of leader for the Americans in the revolutionary war. He led several victory in the war against the British and is famous for his picture of him and 2000 men silently crossing the Delaware River on Christmas Day.
