The Crucible, written by Arthur Miller, was a fictional story filled with lots of drama. It was about one village that had some people that got accused of witchcraft which was against their religion. Some people in the village were accused of witchcraft without proof, and some that were accused were innocent. Some people in the village found out that there were some young girls dancing in the woods and accused them witchcraft. In their village at that time witchcraft was against their religion. However, none of the people in the village had any proof that they were actually practicing any witchcraft. One of the girls was accused because the other girls were white and blamed the whole incident on her. She was a black woman in a white village,
