Who Is Updike's A & P Instead Of The Tell-Tale Heart?

Improved Essays
The book has many interesting and different concepts of stories which are precisely more entertaining and dramatic. Every story is unique in their own ways. The new edition of the book should keep A&P instead of the Tell- Tale Heart because the story of A&P by Updike has better characterization, plot and narrator.
The characterization in the A&P is very unique where the main protagonist is Sammy. Sammy is a 19-year-old boy working in supermarket name A&P and he is very much interested about girls. He is also keen in observing people by their looks and physical appearance and immature about taking serious decisions. The other main characters of the story are Queenie and the manager of the supermarket Mr. Lengel. Queenie who comes to the store
