A fight broke out once again concerning the Capulets and the Montagues yesterday afternoon in the town square. Tybalt Capulet, age 22, was attacked by surprise by Mercutio Montague, age 25. In fear for his life, Tybalt acted in self-defense and killed Mercutio. Outraged, the young Romeo Montague, age 19, decided the only way to right the wrong done was to brutally murder the innocent Tybalt. With the blood of two families on the ground, the fight between the two families only worsened. The fight was finally stopped by the prince, who wisely judged that the families had suffered an equally great loss.
