In “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare Romeo was to blame. He killed mercutio, Tybalt, Paris, Juliet, Lady Montague, and himself. He was the one who caused the whole tragedy. If he would not have followed the path he did and bring everyone with him everything would been fine. He was being a crybaby in the beginning because Rosaline wanted to become a nun and not date or have “night” with him. This lead to Benvolio trying to talk to him to find out what was wrong. This is where the party is suggested and the whole tragedy began. He went to a party uninvited and walked around like he owned the place. He did not try to hide and Tybalt saw him which later on leads to Tybalt wanting to kill Romeo by challenging him to a duel. When Romeo finally met Juliet they both instantly fell in love. Juliet did have feeling for him but if he never would of shown up she would have been married to Paris who was not that bad of a guy. He sneaks back into the Capulet house with a totally disregard for his own life. He stayed there talking to Juliet. Right before he left he asked if she was going to leave him unsatisfied so she says she will marry him Because he was so pushy and stubborn he had then rushed Juliet into saying she will marry him. He then gets the Friar involved in this matter. He tries to convince the Friar to marry …show more content…
When he arrives at the tomb Paris is there paying his respects. He thinks that Romeo is a graverobber and Paris (Being a noble hero) tries to stop him. This does not go all to well for Paris who is killed by Romeo. Romeo does the only good thing he had done the whole play and lays Paris next to Juliet. Romeo then drinks the poison even though he clearly notices that Juliet doesn’t look dead. Romeo killed himself which he could have done from the beginning of the play but instead he had to get Mercutio killed and he murdered Tybalt and Paris
