In Romeo and Juliet the three to blame was Balthasar, Tybalt, and Romeo. I think the least to blame is Romeo because he was the one who killed Tybalt. Balthasar is then blamed next because he saw Juliet and her funeral and told Romeo she was dead. Tybalt is then the most to blame because he is the one to kill Mercutio and caused trouble. The least to blame is Romeo.…

Besides those reasons, Romeo is additionally to blame for the deaths of himself and Juliet because he did not take anyones advice about his relationship with Juliet and he physically committed suicide which caused Juliet to kill herself for him. By not taking suggestions from anyone about his relationship with Juliet, Romeo ultimately doomed himself and his newlywed. Just one example of Romeo’s disobedience is towards Friar Laurence before he marries Juliet. Romeo wants Friar to be the one to wed him and Juliet. The adults were to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because of miscommunication. Romeo and Juliet are dead because they received the wrong message. Friar Lawrence and Friar John did not deliver the right message at the right time which caused Romeo and Juliet to kill themselves. In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the long-lasting feud between the two households and the Prince’s decisions are ultimately responsible for the downfall of the protagonists. Had it not been for the feud, Romeo would have been welcomed at the Capulet’s feast for Juliet, and certainly would not have been frowned upon. However, given his family name, he is viewed as a nuisance, especially through the eyes of Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin. In a heated conversation with Lord Capulet, the kinsman can be heard criticizing Romeo and the Montague family as a whole. Tybalt can be seen exclaiming, “Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe,/A villain that is hither come in spite/to scorn at our solemnity this night” (1.5. 69-71).…

Of course, we are humans and every human makes mistakes. Which is alright but making so many to where it costs lives, and a tremendous amount of sadness is not okay. In “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare there are many characters that could be put to blame, but in my opinion it was Juliet’s omission. She is the reason for almost every fault that happens, and if it wasn’t for her, a lot of those mishaps wouldn’t have happened. First off, Juliet had known that both the Capulet’s and Montague’s had had a very deep hatred for eachother, and although she knew she still decided to try to get to know Romeo more.…
