Who Is To Blame For Romeo And Juliet's Death

On the night of the horid death, Romeo layed poisoned cold-hearted, on the lap of his love, Juliet with she a dagger in here beating heart. William Shakespeare’s brillant play of Romeo and Juliet stunned everyone who watched. It was a love-hate relationship between not only the Capulets and Montagues, but also the children, Romeo and Juliet. The play is a very old but rich story about how the fighting between the houses didnt stop their love for each other. Many people in the play disapproved of Romeo and Juliet being together becasue their families were royal enimies. But love at first sight not only joined Romeo and Juliet together , but at the end, their family as well.
Some people believe that it is Romeo and Juliets fault as to why they died, but I have my own opinion. I think that Juliet’s parents, Romeo’s friend Mercutio, and the Friar were the main impact to their deaths.

One of the people who I believe was a big impact to why Romeo and Juliet comitted suiside was the Friar. The Friar is a trusted holy man in Verona. When Romeo was having a hard time getting over Rosaline, the Friar came up with an idea. Once Romeo meet Juliet, the Friar thought that marrying them off would get Romeo’s mind off Rosaline.

When Romeo and Tybalt started to fight, Mercutio obviously helped because he wanted to help and support his best friend, Romeo. The fight because more then expected, and it casue the death of Mercutio. As Mercutio’s lasts words, he said, “... A plague o’ both houses! They have made worms’ meat of me. I have it, and soundly too. Your houses!...” (Act 3, Scene 1, Page 72) When the Friar tried to tell Romeo about the plan of Juliets fake death, Romeo didnt receive the letter because of a Plague set on the city of Mantua, where Romeo was banished to. If there wasnt a Plague, Romeo would have know about the plan, and they would have lived happily ever
