Trial Write-Up For the trial I was a lawyer for the Crown and did the cross-examination of Bobbie Bann and the closing statements. Our group’s goal was to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Bobbie Bann knew he was shooting Fallon King. We focused in on a few different areas, what possible motives Mr. Bann would have and the different holes in the story Bobbie Bann presented to the court. Looking first as the noise he woke up to, it was only the weathervane scratching against the roof, a noise he should’ve recognized as it happened often.…
When they were at the bed and breakfast, Guy the prosecutor claimed that Dunn ordered pizza and a movie, took his dog for a walk and made himself a drink. Guy argues that they had their cellphones, but they didn't call 911 or go to the police station. It is assumed that the defendant did not care about the crime committed or the pain he caused towards the victim’s family and friends. Dunn acted as if the incident never happened. The next morning, Dunn’s girlfriend saw a news report about a shooting at a Jacksonville gas station where a 17-year-old had been killed.…
Once the criminals associated with the killing of the Clutter family is revealed, Holcomb’s population is noticeably dissatisfied with the revelation, which is conveyed by Capote inserting a conversation between the town’s people regarding their feelings towards who was responsible. The majority of Holcomb’s population is conclusively “… disappointed at being told that the murderer was not someone among themselves. ”(231)This is partially due to the people during the entire investigation being convinced that someone among them had to have committed the crime because they ultimately believed that the act was too personal to not have a direct relationship to the Clutters. Therefore, when it is revealed that what they believed was instead the complete…
Even if Dally was a high standing person in the gang, he committed terrible acts in the past but was still a sympathetic character. Not only was he high standing, but he always somehow found his way into trouble. In the beginning, Ponyboy is talking about Dally's past right after a bunch of Socs jumped him." He had been arrested, he got drunk, rode rodeos, lied, cheated, rolled drunks, jumped small kids- he did everything.…
It is ridiculous to think that Mr. Tabor could ever kill Bob. As even though Mrs. Haley had done her fair share in characterizing a not so sane Mr. Tabor, the features I picked up from Mr. Tabor do not incline with the him who killed Bob. For example, in page 2, line 1 and 2: “Mrs. Haley had thought to herself thinking He stayed on, living in the house he’d spent his honeymoon in. Madge couldn’t understand his doing that.” Mr. Haley thought that would give an explanation of why Mr. Tabor is insane, and could kill an innocent man like Bob.…
When a soldier dies in war a certain question is often asked. That question is who’s to blame for his/hers death? Some may say that there is no one to blame and it was a freak accident. Some people say that there must be someone to blame for each death. The leaders of units may often blame themselves for the death because it was one of their men that died.…

Who is to Blame? I think that Doodle’s brother is to blame for his death. Brother’s actions prove that he did wrong and that it’s his fault. Doodle probably would have lived if it wasn’t for him.…
Adolf Hitler is responsible for the mass murder of almost 40 million people. He had a very strong sense of German pride, he resented the Treaty of Versailles and found it degrading to the Germans. Although Hitler was born in Austria, he found himself in control of the German empire, fighting to make the country a single race. From a very young age, Adolf Hitler had been interested in German nationalism.…

The ‘little boy’ killed a lot of men instantly, and everyone who saw it but didn't die went blind because the explosion was so bright it burned the reyina. The bomb would also give radiation poison to everyone in miles, even long after the bomb dropping. Some are so badly radiated that it appears that they’re covered in third degree burns…

To Kill a Mockingbird is a great book showing how people can grow together. We have Scout and Jem growing up together in an innocent childhood growing into adulthood. We have Tom Robinson, an African American man who, is going to court with Atticus Finch (scouts father) and is trying to defend Tom against the harming white community. Tom Robinson was accused of rape of a white female Mayella. The raping of a white woman by a black man is similar to The Scottsboro Trial in 1933, where 9 black men were falsely accused of raping two white women.…
They ran as fast as they could as if their bottoms were on fire. They ran through a bunch of offices and a bunch of other places. As they ran, Bob turned around and saw where this monster was. It was right behind them, and was chasing them with incredible speed. Destroying everything that was in his way, he had just made a big pathway in the office floor.…
As described by Aronson (2012), individuals often have the tendency to blame the victim for their victimization by associating their situation to personality characteristics or stereotypes that may exist about the particular person. One motivation for people to blame the victim could stem from a desire to view the world as fair and just (Aronson, 2012), or in other words if precautions were taken that could have protected them from a certain situation, the crime might not have occurred. For example, if an elderly person was in the midst of crossing the street when the cross-walk signal changed and someone drove through the intersection (having a green light) and hit the elderly person, it might be easy for the individual driving to blame the…
