Hitler came gained power and gave the people of Germany someone to hate; someone to blame for their problems, for the war. Those people came from a religion called Judaism, but the people are called Jews. Non-Jews put up JEW with red on shop windows that were owned by Jews. Hitler ordered Brown Shirts or Storm Troopers in front of stores to keep customers from entering, although some entered anyway. Not only the Jews that were getting the blame, it was anyone who wasn’t a pure ’Aryan’, this included communists, socialists, Gypsies, anyone who disagreed with Hitler or Hitler didn’t like.
