Knowing that he will regret not following the omens in order to pursue his Personal Legend, Santiago accepts his mentor’s warning and regains his focus. Similar to the mentor from The Alchemist, Obi-Wan Kenobi, the mentor from Star Wars: A New Hope encourages the hero, Luke Skywalker, to practise using the Force instead of consciousness to defend himself. When Luke is in great frustration of not mastering the skill, Obi-Wan encourages him to try again and suggests a new tactic in mastering the Force as he places a large helmet which covers Luke's eyes. “I suggest you try it again, Luke” (Lucas).
