Who Is The Leader In Lord Of The Flies

In the novel Lord of the flies by William Golding takes place on an island, the weather on island was sunny and hot. The boys at first where just eating fruit and they eventually started hunting pigs for food. The boys were all healthy after the plane crash and continued to all stay healthy. The plane has no leftover wreckage after the plane crash they had no site or sign of civilization on the island. When the boys first landed on the island their first instincts were to form a group and elect a leader this would be something John Locke would do, to have leadership. The way things were ran on the island where from a Locke point of view. Towards the end of the novel some of the boys started not agreeing with how things were being ran and there was a lot of fighting between some of the boys so, it started slowly shifting from a Locke point of view to a Thomas Hobbes point of view. The boys and mankind will sadly never at peace with each other. They will never be at peace because, everyone is very different from each other and has their own opinion. Ralph and Jack never got along with each other and it caused many problems in the novel. Mankind is the same way, people don’t get along with one another because people believe that what they think is right. Everyone has a different opinion on things like Ralph and Jack did. People will continue to not get along with each other and fight. Ralph and Jack never stopped fighting because they both had different points of view on things. It made everything very chaotic on the island. This expresses that having just two people not getting along can cause a lot if other to fighting between other people. Since there are people that never stop fighting with each other it leads to mankind never being at
