Time stood still for a moment when I saw him standing next to the back exit door. He isn't supposed to be here. He should be on a tour bus to Los Angeles California with his band. Why is he here? What does he want? I played the final chord of the song, everyone applauds. I stand up from the stool and bowed.
As I put the guitar into its case, Dan walks up waiting for me to exit the stage. As I stepped down he gently grabs me by the arm, we walk outside for privacy and silence from the deafening sounds of the DJ that's spinning records.

Thinking of his Sarah at home, warm and safe with Septimus and the boys, Silas decided that they would just have to make room for one more little one. He carefully tucked the baby into his blue Wizard cloak and held her close to him as he ran toward the Castle gate. He reached the drawbridge just as Gringe, the Gatekeeper, was about to go and yell for the Bridge Boy to start winding it up. "You're cutting it a bit fine," growled Gringe. Have you ever encountered an absolutely gorgeous, charismatic hunk-of-man who, upon meeting him for the first time, had you convinced every move you'd made in your life, up to that point, led you directly to him? Did you feel strangely alive at the time; nevertheless fearing you might die because you suddenly forgot how to inhale, becoming light-headed due to a lack of oxygen? Initially, you probably fell into a state of panic as your eyes grew wide and your heart pounded painfully in your chest, but just in the knick of time you suddenly remembered you could breathe all on your own. In the days that followed, did you diligently fill every waking moment of your day with thoughts of him, reliving every second of the magic, never wanting to…

On Wednesday November 23, 2016 I had quite the experience of my life. For the first time, I attended an actual concert, and not just any concert. I was blessed with a free ticket to go see Joe Bonamassa at the Altria Theater here in Richmond, Virginia. With a little research, I discovered that Joe Bonamassa is a Grammy- nominated blues -rock guitarist. At the time I was given the ticket to go see him preform, I felt no sense of excitement, I never even heard of him before that day nor did I listen to blues-rock.…

The group of friends standing right in front of us jumped and sang every word of the songs being sung. We were only 30 seconds into the first song he sang, there was no one in the crowd in sight just standing there. Days before, I remember counting down for the day to approach. Waiting for that day filled with country music, sunshine, cowboy boots, and hats. It was the stereotypical perfect day, i've been waited for this the entire summer, ever since we heard of it on Wild Country 99.…

It was a particularly windy night in Riften, sending a cool chill running down the thief's spine. He had been sitting on top of a barrel, tearing bits of bread off of the loaf with his teeth and watching the lone merchant ship bob in the wind pushed waters. As he often did, he had been wondering what held him to the small hold, other than the guild. Delvin was no longer an escape for him, but a source of anxiety. His parents had been killed years before.…

I’ve fallen through the earth and landed someplace I cannot see. It is endlessly dark, so dark that I cannot tell whether my eyes are open or closed, though I’m fairly certain that they are open, I think. A few experimental blinks later and I can confirm the openness of my eyes. It is cold here, and I appear to be sitting on some kind of rock. My muscles are locked in place, I’m too scared, too confused to move.…

As we trekked through the streets, voices always emerged from the area behind us, forcing us to always move forward. We came across many things, like large, perfect buildings that seemed to contain supplies like food and water. Nathan was always tempted to raid these so we can have enough to survive here, but he always missed the obvious. The buildings were rigged with enough security to see a fly coming in, we would surely be caught. We passed many buildings, each with enough supplies to let us survive for years, but we knew the risk of being caught was to high.…
