I started my search for the answers to my questions on Mel database. It had many great articles for both opposing and against. I had not really any trouble with the MEl database all the sources it gave me where good. I fact check most of my research so i'm not continuing spreading false information and that database gave me legit answers to my questions with some conflicting viewpoints. “"The Medical Benefits of Human Cloning”. it says the something along the lines of that we can produce embryonic stem cells of which that can be grown to replicate organs or tissues to repair or replace damaged or lost ones.” It was a good source because it did well with a fact check and it does a great job with supporting with one of the opposing

INT 420 Deona Sherrill Paper #1 There are literally thousands of web sites out there that claim to be news sources and many of these web sites are conspiracy sites and/or groups who think they can publish rumors as facts. This can wreak havoc on the internet and in some people’s lives and I think it is highly unethical to publish anything that has not first been proven to be true by finding the basis for their stories on facts and not rumors. I remember one story that flew the rumor mill last May about how the US Military was going to invade Texas or put Texas under Martial Law or at the very least was training our troops on how to put the entire United States under Martial Law. In reality, some of our special op troops were being brought…

In “The Allegory of the Cave,” Plato uses shadows as a metaphor to show deception and limited information. In Plato’s story, there are many prisoners in a cave. They are chained so they can’t move and all they can see are the shadows that are cast onto the wall in front of the prisoners by puppeteers. The shadows are not real objects, but the prisoners believe that they are because those shadows are all they know and see everyday. This metaphor that the shadows, illustrated by Plato, can still be seen in today’s society in the media, the government, and the deception of other people.…

Robert, I couldn't agree more with you about the affect this resrarch project had on the families and public that were affected greatly by this project. It shocks me that the researchers would both lie and create false hope for the loved ones, that they had given their family members a voice. My question for you is what do you think their reason for lying was? You had mentioned that millions of dollars were potentially wasted, but I'm curious to see if by lying these researchers profited off their actions. I would also like to mention that your view on the perfect grammar and spelling of someone who is mentally challanged is spot on.…

    1. The Rogerian argument came from American psychologist Carl Rogers. He came to a conclusion that once his patients had an idea or argument, they stuck to it, and it was hard for him to change their thought through a rational argument. His theory to influence his patient’s train of thought was by trying to figure out how to drain the conflict in order to influence their attitudes. His work was so relevant that it was used and spread from regions including South Africa and Northern Ireland.…

The pro about this is that budget will be more available for scientists using applied research if they stop conducting basic research studies. Basic research studies are done based on curiosity in science but the results do not have immediate application in real world. With this in mind, getting rid of basic research studies will have an increase of budget just for applied research.…

Well what perspective of that is correct to believe? Well according to Tim Harlem in his article, “Why Fast Food isn’t Cheaper than Healthy Food” he thinks that buying healthy food over fast food is cheaper. After reading his article I did find it to be a pretty reliable source to make someone believe that buying healthy food and preparing it at home is actually cheaper than buying fast food.
