The Importance Of Time Doesn's Waiting For Man

Time in an individual 's life is a limited resource that runs out second by second. What one decides to do in the coming seconds, minutes, hours, is up to the individual. Time doesn 't wait for man. Learning this concept has made me the person that I am today, I don 't think that many people have a firm grasp on it. The idea that everyone is on earth for a reason is cliche but in my opinion it 's true.

Time started before any of us were born, before I was born. I learned the value of time at a fairly young age, I remember my dad working long hours to support our family making almost minimum wage. I remember my mom studying for classes to get her degree. My parents used their time to create a better life for me and my sister. From this I learned

So from this realization, I started doing things that would better myself as a person, as well as benefit the community. For example for the past three years in high school I have dedicated a couple hours a week to tutor underclassmen in mathematics. With my help in the past few years, several students have gotten the grades that they wanted. In addition to tutoring, I started an engineering club with a friend this year, our aim is to help students explore career paths and build interest in the role that engineering has in the world we live in. Seeing the little differences that I make in other people 's lives is what drives me to succeed today, because I know that if I am succeed in life, I will be able to help many more lives. Achieving world peace might be a long-way off, but I can start right here in my community, by sharing my knowledge with others and helping others …show more content…
Of course they encouraged me to do well in school, however, there wasn 't much emphasis on it. I wasn 't the best student in elementary school, it wasn 't until middle school I realized the importance of education. I didn 't want my children to grow up like I did, where money was always a lingering issue. Despite this, I still think that I am lucky. There are many people living in the world today without access to clean water and vaccines. I never had to worry about this. No one should have to worry about life 's
