Friar Lawrence, a role model to the small village, mislead the young couple bring them to their own deaths. Friar Lawrence began to get involved in the affair of the young couple was when he married them secretly without the consent of Juliet's parents, nor the blessing of anyone. By Friar Lawrence marrying them, that caused the young couple to feel more connected and in sync, which wasn’t a good idea without any opinions from either of their families or friends. Much like Nurse, Friar Lawrence also encouraged the relationship of Romeo and Juliet. Shortly after the murdering of Tybalt, Friar Lawrence came up with the idea for Romeo to go stay with Juliet. In Fact, he even came up with a long plan to ensure that the couple and their romance continues. “Take heed, take heed, for such die miserable. Go, get thee to thy love, as was decreed. Ascend her chamber, hence, and comfort her. But look thou stay not till the watch be set,” (A3, S3, P7). By saying this, he was phycologically setting Romeo and Juliet up for failure. The Capulet’s, holding Juliet to high standards, forced her to grow up too fast. Not only is the rushing of her age inconvenient, but it was also bad for her mentality. Juliet is a young teenager who is growing, and she had not yet found herself mentally. By her parents forcing a marriage apon her, they interfere with the development of her young brain. With Juliet’s mind being scrambled, she quickly fell in love with Romeo. As a young teenager, if you don’t have anyone you feel understands you, you will be desperate for love; which was the case of Juliet. Before rushing Juliet into marriage, the Capulets did not build a relationship nor bond with her. Juliet’s mother, who also married early, was no support to Juliet.
