Who Is Oberon In A Midsummer Night's Dream

Oberon, the king of fairies is one of the main characters in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” He is a very interesting character as his personality has two sides. On one side he is a kind and generous person as he helped Helena get her love Demetrius, and he wishes good for the newlywed couples. On the other hand, he can be a very jealous and when it comes to his wife Titania, he can be very mischievous and demanding.

Starting off with the malicious side of Oberon, Oberon can be very demanding and jealous person when it comes to Titania but at the same time, he is a lover of Titania and also other women. Oberon always tries to demand his rights as Titania's husband, however, the real reason Oberon showed so much jealousy was because of the changeling
