Who Is My Hero's Last Journey?

I stood there like a rock in the middle of a surging river. People shuffled around me as they rushed to their destination in a hurry. Cars cruised by, leaving exhaust in their wake. I meandered through the crowd, searching for any sign of escape. The whole world blurred together as I was swept up in the horde of people. I mustered my strength and wove my way to the side of the crowd, but I could not escape. I stumbled on the sidewalk as the mass pushed forward. Suddenly, my foot caught on the crack of the sidewalk. Therefore, causing me to topple onto the ground. The swarm of people neither slowed their pace nor helped me. The cluster of people engulfed me and I was trampled without a hint of guilt from anyone. All of sudden, a silhouette loomed over me. I twisted my head back to discover the source of the shadow. A man towered over me and I stared at him bewildered by his kindness. Then, I realized that his hand was extended towards me.

I grabbed his hand and he lifted me off the ground and on my feet.
“No problem,” the man responded. Then, he extended his other hand towards me and in his hand was my wallet.
“By the way, you seem to have dropped your wallet,” the man added, almost sounding sinister.
I grabbed my wallet and thanked him once again. I opened my wallet to check if everything was inside still and discovered that my cash and credit cards were gone. I whipped around, but the man had already disappeared into the crowd. I was left standing there alone, dumbfounded at the turn of events that
