My Hero
The odyssey an epic by homer was about the Greek hero odysseus left his homeland Ithaca to fight in the Trojan War and after 10 years still has not returned to his kingdom. A large and rowdy mob of suitors and men that people that he himself has been close to for years overrun Odysseus’s palace and pillaged his land continue to court his wife, Penelope . She has remained faithful to Odysseus. Odysseus goes through many struggles trying to return home to his beloved wife. Odysseus being in the Trojan war was crucial to the Greeks' victory. It was he who created the trojan house to help win the war finally! In my life i would say my hero would have to be my sister. She is an extremely adventurous person and enjoys trying new things and going new places - much like odysseus who was scared of nothing , he would do whatever he wanted and would go to places people wouldn't dare to go. Because my sister is so adventurous she tends to be very compassionate towards other people , she hates when people feel discouraged or mad and tends to try and help them out in any way. Much like odysseus who helped anyone he possibly could, he saw the good in everyone. Odysseus was a very optimistic person , very similar to my sister.
