Who Is My Father's List In Romeo And Juliet

You all know Romeo and Juliet, right? The tragic story of two star-crossed lovers and how their destiny leads to shambles, yeah, that one. Unlike the format of my other essays, Romeo and Juliet is not going to be the main topic of this writing. You know how in Romeo and Juliet, the father has to choose the child’s spouse? Well we had our parent(s) choose our spouse - er, at least the traits of an ideal significant other. These first lists that you’re going to see are what I predicted to be the lists of my mother and father would produce. On my mother’s list, I have written rich, patient, experienced, and attractive. On my father’s list, I put smart, good listener, therapeutic personality (if that makes sense), and experienced. These lists I made are important because this whole segment is to also teach us about bonding with our family, and how we always keep everything secret from our parents. Let’s compare these estimated lists my parents’ actual lists. My mother’s lists of traits for my future significant other included: trustworthy, honest, patient, intelligent, unselfish, and confident. On the other hand, I basically guessed the opposite of what mom would put on the list, with “rich”; trustworthy, honest, patient, unselfish, four out of six of the items on my mom’s list didn’t even fit the criteria for a stereotypical rich person. On a third hand (there’s four hands), I guessed a lot of stuff correctly on my dad’s list, such as “smart’.
