Every person is different in their own way. Shirley Jackson’s short story, “The Possibility of Evil”, is an example on how people are different in their own way. Mrs.Strangeworth seems like a sweet old lady, until you get to know her better. Mrs.Strangeworth’s character can be analyzed by considering what she does, what the narrator says about her, and how other characters interact with her. The other characters like Mrs.Strangeworth. They view her as a kind person. I know this because, no one is rude to her. Even the teenagers, most teens are rude, and don’t care about talking to an elderly person. It’s not that most teens are rude to elderly people, they just don’t stop playing to acknowledge them.
