Nurse is kind, protective, and motherly. She is kind when Juliet was about to go to the party. “Go girl, seek happy nights to happy days.” (Act 1, Scene 5, Line 107). Nurse is telling Juliet to find happiness, which proves she is kind. Nurse is also protective. This is shown when she is going to meet Romeo. “An ‘a speak nothing against me, I'll take him down…” (Act 3, scene 3, line 131). Nurse is being protective of Juliet. Nurse is finally motherly. This is shown when Juliet meets Romeo. “His name is Romeo, and a Montague, the only son of your great enemy.” Act 1, scene 5, lines 134-135). She warns Juliet about who Romeo is.
