Some people might only consider Martin Luther King Jr. as an activist but he is more than that, he is a hero. A hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities (www.oxforddictionaries.com). Dr. King fought for equality and civil right for African Americans like himself. Even thought he was hated by most of the white community and his family and him were put endanger for it, he still believed in nonviolence. He always wanted to help the community and the less fortunate.
