At a fountain in a park two boys were attacked by several boys.One boy decided to grab ahold of Ponyboys neck and decided to put him underwater and try to drown him.So Jhonny decided to kill Bob. But also Greasers didnt start it the socs did because they talked to there girlfriends.So i see Jhonny innocent because he was in self defence mode and he was also caring enough to save his freind.
