Who Is Hector Dominguez A Role Model?

On Tuesday, May 16, Hector Dominguez was the only student honored at the Palo Verde Unified School District as the May student of the month.
Dominguez was introduced to the board and the meeting’s attendees by Karina De La Pena, principal of Felix J. Appleby Elementary School.
Having the proud pleasure to be Dominguez’s first grade teacher, De La Pena said Dominguez is definitely a role model for other students at school.
“He’s determined and committed and always treat students with dignity and respect,” the principal said.
While working hard on his academics each day, Dominguez said his hopes is to someday become a civil engineer.
As the youngest child of the family, he said he truly looks up to his sister and loves the good relationship
