Characters: Felton is a top recruit in the nation for football. Felton’s little brother’s name is Andrew and his dreams of being a pianist have been crushed by Felton. Felton’s old friend Gus is kind of weird but he is still friends with Felton even though Felton is an athlete.
Background: Felton and Andrews’s dad killed himself in their garage. Their mom became wacko after that and she needed some help. Felton grew up being picked on, he was small, and he was weird. His best friend was Gus and they did everything together.
Motivation: Andrew wants to get away from Felton because he is always mean to him. Andrew leaves for an orchestra camp and Felton doesn’t think he is actually there. So Felton goes to Florida to find him with Gus. …show more content…
Gus has been doing some mean things to Felton because he has just kind of left him when he became an athlete. When they finally get to Florida they have almost everything resolved. Felton also had a conflict with Andrew. Andrew left them to go to Florida and live there with his cousin. Felton try’s to find him and when he does Andrew doesn’t like it.
Plot: Felton is really mean to Andrew by ignoring him, not going to his piano concert, and telling him he should just be a pharmacist. Andrew becomes really mad not understanding that Felton had a lot on his plate to with football, his girlfriend moved away, and people posted an embarrassing picture of him at school. Andrew tells his mom he is going to an eight-month orchestra camp but he didn’t. He went to Florida and was trying to introduce himself to his grandpa who he has never met before because his dad committed suicide. Felton figures this put and goes down with Gus and finds him in Florida.
Resolution: I don’t know the ending yet because I’m not quite finished with the book yet. I hope that they introduce themselves to their grandpa and he doesn’t freak out and it’s just a good
