Who Is Duncan In Shakespeare's Macbeth?

Malcom, heir to the Throne, what was Duncan thinking? I cannot get my head around all that has happened. Me? Thane of Cawdor, from where do these witches get their knowledge, certainly they cannot be true. But to be King? I swore my allegiance and loyalty to the King. Duncan is the King, he will have chosen someone who is suitable for that role. But instead he chose Malcom, someone who is not ready to be King. Does he have what it takes to make the right decisions? He is just a child, he is not suitable to be King. A King should know when to take charge and when to start Battles, like the battle I have just fought; we won that battle because we had a good King who knew the right battle strategies. But what if his sons come to power and succeed me? What if they take the crown away from me? No that cannot be done, he sons will not over throw me I will see to it that they don’t. But how will they overthrow me first is the question?
