More Than a Mother “Love as powerful as your mothers for you leaves its own mark… to have been loved so deeply… to give us some protection forever.” My mother may not wear a cape but she is one of the greatest, strongest heroes I know. She has never let me down and she always makes sure I am thrilled and amazingly taken care of. She supports me and the decisions I make. My hero inspires me to be a better person. I know that she will always be right behind me every step I take in life. It is a delightful feeling to know someone is always going to support me in anything I do. My mother and Beowulf have a lot of common traits when it comes to being a hero. Beowulf never let down King Hrothgar and the town of Denmark, he kept his word. My mom would put her own life on the line for. Beowulf put his life on the line when he fought Grendel. Beowulf was willing to work hard and do everything necessary to make sure the town was safe. My hero still loves me unconditionally even though I have done wrong, and disappointed her. Beowulf does his heroic duties to show off or gain fame. My mother on the other hand doesn’t do things to make herself “look good”. She does the extraordinary thing out of the kindness of her heart. My mother and I have a bond that could never be broken. She is truly my best friend and she will never leave me lonely. Every hero has something in common, but they change our lives in different ways. My mom is my hero because she is loving, caring, and understanding. She is an amazing person. My mom is my role model in life nobody else could compare to her. I am so fortunate to have such a loving and caring mother that would do absolutely anything and everything for me.
