Who Is Atlas A Titan

Atlas is a titan, his parents were Iapetus and Clymene. He is a brother to Prometheus, Epimetheus, and Menoetius. Atlas played a big part in the war where the titans fought their children, the gods. Atlas was their leader. Eventually the gods would go on to win this war. Zeus who is the king of the gods condemned Atlas eternal punishment. His punishment was to hold up the sky. Even though he is depicted holding up the Earth, that is not what is his doing. He literally has to hold up the sky.
