Asoke is one of the most respected rulers in Indian history. He made his own empire stronger and richer.For many years Asoke watched his armies fight battles against other people. Just a few years as leader he coveted Buddhism. When they arrived there the had wells dug and roads built through the empire, they also built rest houses so that when the people got really tired they could rest their for a while. Asoke encouraged the spread of buddhism all of india and most of Asia. he built Columns, carved with Buddhist teaching all over in dia and asia. This is why I think Askoke is the best leader.
