When you are being sincere it helps to communicate with people in the faster manner, even when performing a certain role. A person could understand another person faster and there will be less misunderstanding while communicating, since you will be able to recognize other person’s intensions better. Based on my experience people are able to be both types, low and high performing. It’s the way they understand the society based on the experience they had. It’s difficult to recognize how well do you perform your roles sometimes, because it becomes natural to you. I noticed that the value of a particular role or the value of an activity related to this role determines a role performance of an individual.
