Who Is Alexander The Great A Hero

Alexander the Great Alexander the Great one said, “There is nothing impossible to him who will try.” I strongly think that Alexander was a hero in history. He accomplished many things and conquered many lands which brought together different people and backgrounds. Alexander took over the territory of his father, Philip II, after he dies and was very successful at keeping the legacy of the family alive. Alexander the Great was a very important conqueror and had a very accomplished life. One reason Alexander was considered so successful was because he united many different nations and made his territory hellenistic. He made a blend of Greek, Persian, Indian, and Egyptian societies. The Koine language formed from this type of culture and became very widespread among traders during this time. Alexander conquered a lot of land and fought in a lot of hard battles but always seemed to come out victorious. He stuck with the phalanx formation his father taught the troops and introduced many new and strong weapons to his army. Alexander was a very strong war hero and he never lost a battle which made him a very well-known guy. One more reason Alexander the Great was so heroic was he expanded his empire bigger than anyone had ever expanded before. Alexander expanded into the Greek empires and into the Middle East. Although he was very violent with some regions, he eventually got them all under his power and united them. Alexander conquered much of the Middle East and up into Greece. His army was very strong and his generals never turned their backs on him and were always very supportive of all Alexander’s decisions.
