Aladdin represents the light of the story. He is kind, helpful, and looks out for everyone. Although, in the beginning he lied to Jasmine, about him being a prince, but he had good intentions. Oppositely, Jafar is the darkness of the story. The darkness of the story is Jafar, because he is selfish, and does not care about others. Jafar has negative intentions for citizens of Agrahbah and wants to reign over overall.
The suitors come to visit princess Jasmine, but Jasmine realizes not to judge someone with their wealth, but their mind set. For example, the prince attempts to hit the child, but Aladdin the beggar stops him from hurting the child.

However the first attempt happens in the Cave Of Wonders this takes place when retrieving the lamp without touching any of the treasures surrounding it. However, Abu, Aladdin`s partner in crime attempts to take gem, however fails. Therefore, this resulted the cave to collapse. Luckily the magic carpet saves them and Aladdin gives the lamp to Jafar. However, after Jafar tries to kill him Abu takes the lamp back and they fall back into the collapsing cave.
Aladdin finds the lamp, but touches a necklace that reminds him of Jasmine, causing the cave to collapse. Trapped inside, Aladdin rubs the lamp and releases the Genie, who helps his new master escape the cave.
