Ephesians Strengths And Weaknesses

What if there is more to suffering than one realizes? How would one’s mindset shift if he or she believed that all trials and tribulations that society perceives as weaknesses, are in actuality strength? When a person is brought into moments of weakness, he/she must become open to allowing strength to come in. 2 Corinthians 12:9 states, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” What if God is calling people to embrace their weaknesses, so that He can respond with his strength? There is a natural power paradox that is believed within society. The innate way to think about power is, that when one has strength, he/she is strong. It is not born into one another to embrace weakness; culture has been conditioned that it is good to be strong and independent. However, reality is, when one is weak, he/she is actually strong. It is difficult for anyone to understand why people must endure tragic times. The human race must realize that in order to be strong, one must tap into resources of someone that knows more. In Ephesians 2:10 it states, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” He is the only one that knows the beginning to the end. People sin and have moral weaknesses. Humans have limited perspective, which makes it impossible to fully comprehend pain, loss, and trials. Isaiah 55:8-9 assures us, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my way. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” God is using these trials to prepare His people to do amazing things. We are also reminded of this in Hebrews 12:10, which implies that, we are enabled to share in His holiness through the discipline of enduring
