Who I Am I? Essay
Who am I? I have never really thought about this question before. This is what I know about who I am. I am a nineteen year old girl, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a college student and I am a girlfriend. These are the general statements I can say about who I am. Many people could relate to this but what makes me stand out?
On the first day of class we read an article titled What is I? This paper was like nothing I had ever written before. It was interesting to me because this was a question I had never really thought about before. In my first blog for this class, I looked at the question of What is I? like one we could relate to science. “It reminds me of one of those topics you are asked in science, who or what created the planets? God or The Big Bang Theory? Are we ever really going to understand the true meaning of Who is I?” Looking back I do not feel like this is as true anymore. Who I am is what I want to figure out. I want to create my own definition.
For my Autoethnography, I am going to look at my writing and try to create my own definition for I. I think it is going to be interesting looking over all of my papers and try to figure out why I wrote what I did or if I have any comparisons with my other papers. Looking at my five essays dealing with my senses, along with my blogs, I will create my definition for who I am.
