Commemorative Speech

Today I’m going to tell you about a person who has had the most positive influence on me. He has taught me right from wrong through example. That man is my brother Nathan. Nathan and I were never good friends when we were young in fact we fought daily but now that we are older and don’t see as much of each other we like each other way more. I am going to tell you how he’s impacted my life, how he’s taught me and how he’s given advise. Ever since I was born I’ve had my brother I haven’t always thought of him as a great person and if I were to make this speech 5 years ago I would probably tell you how he is a mean person. He uses he’s past experiences to help guide me through the turmoil that is high school and college parties and girls. The advice he gives most is to just take it slow and enjoy it while its easy. But he’s also given advise like get a job and make money which I still really need to do. But he also helped me lift weights he taught me the first couple lifts I learned, and every time he comes into town we go to the gym. He started me in boy scouts and is always a useful person to ask for help when it has to do with camping and how to enjoy my time camping. As I said earlier we fought a lot and so I’m a better fighter for it he taught me never to let you appoint get under you because they will just pick you up and drop you. He also is fun to fight has really tall and will wrap around you but if you put him in a sleeper hold that usually beats him. My brother really has changed my life I don’t think I would be as good a person without him. He has taught me so much and is someone I can’t picture not having in my life. He’s taught me so many life lesions and has challenged me to better myself. He’s set the standard for me to go to college and get a degree in nursing. He’s a good brother and the best I
