Tybalt didn’t want to walk away and basically let Romeo have the last laugh. Romeo was not wanting to fight with Tybalt, but because of the pride sitting on Tybalt’s shoulders to him he couldn’t just walk away, he had to win, he had to represent his family because of this he got into a fight with Mercutio. Tybalt won and killed Mercutio, which made Romeo furious. Romeo was so mad that he ended up killing Tybalt this caused him to be banned from Verona. Juliet was miserable and felt like she couldn’t live without Romeo. In Romeo and Juliet a conversation between Tybalt and Lord Capulet says “Tybalt: This, by his voice, should be a Montague. Fetch me my rapier, boy. What!
