Starting Bib-314 I felt so lost with the bible, and all the content of it. I would hear about the gospels, but never knew why they were so important until now. I have a better understanding what the life of Jesus is all about. Why Jesus said the things he said, and did during His time. Everything He did and said has a purpose for our lives so we could reflect on, and follow his righteous life. As we dissected the gospel of Matthew, that alone gave me so much understanding of the life of Jesus, his teachings, and mission in life. The bible has so much more meaning to me since I first started this class. Now, I have more knowledge of why certain parables are included in the bible as well as the gospels of Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John. These four gospels are the only stories that tell the life of Jesus, something I never knew. It’s amazing how God works, before this class,I …show more content…
It’s evident that Jesus is a man of great love who forgives, and sacrificed his life for us. I would have to say my response stills stays the same. Jesus to me is the main icon of humanity, love, and compassion who forgives everyone who truly repents. Jesus Christ can help me endure my trials in life, sickness, and pain. He is the one that is there for me through good and bad, and I don’t even have to ask. He is the source of my joy, peace, self -control, self worthiness, and consolation. Jesus guides me through life. He is there in time of darkness and need. Even though he is not seen, he watches over me and comforts me in any way he can. Jesus Christ professed his love for humanity by sacrificing what we should most treasure just to save others from sin. Jesus was chosen by his Father God to put a flesh example for humanity so we can follow his laws and live a good life. Jesus to me is the greatest man that ever existed here on earth for all

This relates to me in a big way because I did not come from a religious background. I always understood who Jesus was but never had a relationship with him so I never felt that love just quiet yet. As I have been in college and made friends I found out that some of my closest friends are firm Jesus followers and is one of the most impactful that has happened to me. Just like Andreas I had an in-person experience of what God was doing in other peoples lives.…

Jesus shows how one can be a human made in God’s image by not failing to following his orders. God only wants what’s best for us and Jesus displays this by always placing unending faith to God. I know that sometimes it’s easy to doubt God in what he does. Sometimes the way he does things makes it difficult to understand, like the death of a loved one. I for one question the suffering God puts us through, but Jesus did not waver in his faith in God even through his…

The Bible verse that truly touches me about Jesus’s character can be found in the book of Revelation, which stated “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” Revelation 3:20 (NKJV). My role in this is to simply answer the calling of Jesus, for it is apparent He wants to be a part of my…

Jesus Christ came on the scene stating He was God, talking of his ability to forgive sins and his judging of the world. The fact that God is seen by Christians as above and outside of this world, it was shocking to have a man make these claims. An imperative aspect of Christianity is Jesus’ claims to forgive sins. This ability is not the ability that mankind has to forgive each other for the sins we commit against one another, instead Jesus has the ability to forgive all sins of all people as He is God. Jesus offers the only way for us to mend our relationship with God as sinners.…

In the bible it states ''for god so loved the world he sent his only begotten son that whosever believeth in him should not perish but have ever lasting life''. Jesus came down from heaven to die for the sins of the world so we could go to heaven. I believe because with the help of God, Jesus healed the sick raised the dead and made the blind see. Being the best-selling book of all time, I can understand why it has earned that rank. Out of the many books that have shaped partially who I am, how I think, and how I behave, I think that the Bible deserves to be recognized as the one book that has transformed who I have become. It is challenging to mention that this compilation of books have influenced me the most only because of the diverse views that exist regarding the book. However, the Bible has not only transformed my spiritual life and what I freely choose to believe in, but the moral stands that are encrypted in the verses of the Bible can truly become a guide of life, which I have proved in my life. Jesus’ identity and purpose has been a great source of discussion and investigation through the years. Although many people do not seem to believe in the importance and legacy of His life, there are many profs and facts that show the meaning of His days physically living in our world. Jesus came to show us the correct way to live and direct our actions towards others. For example, in Matthew 5:43-48, Jesus speaks about loving one’s enemies. He mentions how important it is to love, bless and pray for those who curse, hate, use and persecute us (Matthew 5:44).…
